The post holder’s duties assume the responsibility and management of plant equipment for all aspects of maintenance to improve equipment reliability. The Automation engineer will drive the maintenance and improvement of automated production cells. In this role you will also drive robust fixes following unplanned availability losses to reduce repeat failures and create solutions to drive continuous improvement. The KPIs for the above will be MTBF & MTTR and yearly objectives. You will build and lead technical understanding of equipment to develop the team’s technical knowledge & skill set to drive self-sufficiency, innovation & continuous improvement. In addition, this person will work towards equipment maturity, connectivity, CBM, Process Monitoring & Industry 4.0, helping take GW into a stable future state, enabling customer satisfaction and ultimately a profitable organization.
