The Postholder will be responsible for leading on the delivery of operational HR support and delivering allocated HR projects. This role also including focusing on effective recruitment and selection and assisting the Head of HR to formulate and support the business to deliver against an effective action plan to improve employee engagement.
The successful candidate will be an Associate member (or above) of the CIPD (or equivalent qualification), will have previous experience of working as a generalist human resources practitioner, including significant experience of dealing with employee relations cases in real time, including performance management, sickness absence management, discipline and grievance and recruitment & selection. Comprehensive knowledge of employment law and its application is essential for this role, as is experience of delivering HR projects to deadline and experience of working with and handling confidential data. Experience of working in the manufacturing sector would be advantageous for this role.
