The Postholders’ responsibilities will include providing initial technical support to telephone and email requests from IT users, enforcing and auditing the application of the IT Policy, maintaining and supporting the existing IT and telecom infrastructure, managing and overseeing printer toner usage and basic server administration.

The successful candidates will have a recognised formal IT qualification or demonstrable experience in relevant fields along with a good understanding of MS operating systems including Windows XP/7/10 and 11.  In addition to possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the successful candidates will also have a good understanding of networks including TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.  They should also be a confident user of, and able to provide advice and support on, Microsoft Office products.  Experience of using Active Directory is desirable.
